Intensive Exam Intervention The February half-term is the most critical window for GCSE revision. At mrburkesclassroom, we provide a high-impact intervention designed to move students up at least one full grade boundary before the summer exams.

Led by a current AQA English Language Examiner and 2024 Teacher of the Year nominee, this programme moves beyond basic plot summary. We focus on the forensic skills required to satisfy the mark scheme and impress the examiners.

Each 2-hour session features:

  • Predicted Question Mastery: We explore high-probability questions for the 2026 series.
  • Examiner Insight: Direct guidance on how papers are marked and where marks are often lost.
  • Live Essay Construction: We plan and write high-level responses together in real-time.
  • Resource Access: Full entry to our dedicated Google Classroom hub for all model answers and revision frames.
