Fees & Payments
At Mr Burke’s Classroom, we believe clarity and consistency are key. Please read the fee structure carefully before registering.
Advance payment: All fees must be paid in advance of lessons.
Invoices: Issued between the 22nd–24th of the preceding month and due by the 1st of the new month.
Payment methods: BACS transfer, Visa/MasterCard, or Klarna (instalments available).
Ad-hoc weekly bookings: Must be confirmed and paid at least 24 hours before the lesson.
Lesson schedule: Confirmed in your monthly invoice.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please inform us before the 1st of the month if you need to cancel or make changes.
Cancellations after this date may result in the loss of the fee for that lesson.
Where possible, we will try to rearrange the lesson or apply a credit to the following month (at our discretion).
One-to-One tuition at Mr Burke’s Classroom provides personalised, focused support for students across different levels, from 11+ preparation to A-Level and adult learners.
Lessons are charged per session, with fees varying by level.
Payments are made monthly in advance, covering all lessons scheduled for that month.- Invoices are sent between the 22nd–24th of the preceding month and must be settled by the 1st of the new month.
- Ad-hoc lessons are available at a higher rate for students who prefer flexible, pay-as-you-go bookings. These must be booked and paid for at least 24 hours in advance.
Discounts are available for siblings and double bookings.

The GCSE English Language Booster Groups are charged on a per-session basis at £20.
Each group runs once per week (75 minutes).- Payments are made monthly in advance, covering all lessons for that month.
- Invoices are sent between the 22nd–24th of the previous month and must be paid by the 1st of the new month.
Fees are adjusted if the month is longer or shorter due to holidays or half-terms.

The Black Studies Saturday School is charged on a per-session basis at £20.

The Black Studies for Adults Course runs across 12 weeks and is divided into two teaching terms of 6 weeks each.
- Each class costs £25 per session.
Fees are paid per term in advance (£150 for 6 sessions).- Students are expected to commit to the full programme, completing both terms.
- For those who cannot commit, an ad-hoc drop-in option is available at £30 per session, payable at least 24 hours in advance.

- Payment is due by the 1st of each month, except January (due 9th January 2026).
